Jen Burgess is a dedicated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern. Jen utilizes Adlerian Play Therapy to foster resiliency through a strength-based approach that honors an individual’s needs. In her sessions, Jen creates a safe and nurturing environment where clients are encouraged to explore their feelings, behaviors, and attitudes in a non-judgmental space. She believes in the power of encouragement and uses it as a tool to motivate her clients towards self-awareness and personal growth. Her goal is to empower individuals to navigate life’s challenges with courage, resilience, and a strong sense of community. Whether working with children, navigating family dynamics, or supporting adults through their personal journeys, Jen promotes mental health and well-being across all stages of life.

 

Jen’s primary clinical focus includes working with individuals and families experiencing anxiety, behavioral concerns, ADHD, stage of life changes, depression, low self- esteem, trauma, and child/parent relationship concerns.
