I have learned through personal life experiences that finding the right counselor is crucial to the healing process. I provide individual and family counseling to adults, adolescents, and children.
I have years of experience in the schools and private sector working with children, teachers, and parents in both individual and group counseling settings. I also have acquired a great deal of knowledge in navigating the IEP/504 educational process. I strive to reach every client where they are and help them move forward in reaching their goals.
My counseling approach mainly derives from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I believe if a client is given the proper tools, they have the power to re-train their brain in helping to reach their goals. My approach is all about making my clients feel comfortable and working together as a team. I also provide thorough education on the special education and 504 plan processes and can help plan for upcoming educational meetings.
It would be my privilege to work with you and help you reach your goals. It is my promise to you when we meet that you will be in an environment free of judgment, safe, and caring.
